Martha believes that “no one size fits all.” Great trainers need to tailor their curriculum for the professional needs of the client and individual. This means understanding the goals of the company and the job tasks and skills of individuals.
Her course design often starts with a review of the client’s documents; whenever possible she uses these files in training so that students can learn by applying new techniques to their actual practice. By customizing training she can reduce class time and provide more effective learning. She doesn’t just teach what’s new and great about an application, but the techniques and aspects of software that will help users do their jobs better.
